The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for reconciling accounts payable vs. statements of account, following up on problematic cases and coordinating month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts payable vs. statements of account;
• Follow up on problematic cases;
• Coordinate month-end processes;
• Perform GL account reconciliations as requested;
• Ensure productivity improvement;
• Supervise accounts payable teams;
• Innovate by developing new work methods;
• Ensure records are in compliance with sales tax and other legislation;
• Communicate with suppliers;
• Other related duties.

Success Factors

• Minimum of a technical accounting background;
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounts payable as well as experience in personnel management;
• Any experience in the tire industry, in distribution and/or with Costar software will be considered an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word office software;
• Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken;
• Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines;
• Analytical and organizational skills;
• Professional, meticulous and autonomous;
• Team player, interpersonal skills.
