Purpose of the position

The Handler for the mail department is responsible for putting the mail labels on the correct tires and loading the appropriate trailer.

Responsibilities entrusted

• Ensure the reception of tires;
• Put mail labels on the correct tires;
• Prepare delivery vehicles (shipping) based on work orders;
• Perform the entry of items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• Perform the entry of items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• Seize tires from the inventory using a radio frequency rifle;
• Load the appropriate remoarch
• Perform maintenance tasks on work surfaces;
• Any other related duties.

Success Factors

• Physical work skills: being able to repeatedly lift loads weighing an average of 30 pounds;
• Forklift operator card
• Autonomy: be independent, enterprising and able to work with minimal supervision;
• Resourcefulness: Has good judgment, ability to find multiple solutions to problems and ability to take initiative;
• Rigour and respect for procedures: ability to execute accurate requests within the prescribed time;
• Respect and sense of humour;
• Agree to work in an environment where health and safety is essential and a priority;
• Team spirit.
