Salary of $21.17/h
Evening shift from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Schedule from Monday to Friday, 40h/week with possibility of overtime $$$
The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving tires around the warehouse either manually or with the help of lifting equipment and loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
Responsibilities entrusted
• Ensure the reception of tires;
• Load and unload delivery trucks;
• Move products to warehouse locations using lifting equipment;
• Seize the products in the inventory using a radio frequency rifle;
• Inspect and report any anomalies on lifting devices.
• Operate specialized lifting equipment;
• Prepare delivery vehicles based on work orders;
• Enter items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• Housekeeping;
• All other related tasks.
Success factors
• Have experience in the field of driving stand-up hoists;
• Ability to perform physical work: be able to repeatedly lift loads weighing an average of 30lbs, do work at heights as well as manual work
• Hold a competency card attesting to training in the safe operation of lifting devices or have experience
• Be enterprising and able to work with minimal supervision;
• Be constantly oriented towards customer needs and demonstrate attention to detail;
• Respect and sense of humor;
• Agree to work in an environment where health and safety are essential and a priority;
• Be reliable, rigorous and able to take initiatives.
