The Manager, Data Engineering & Warehouse actively contributes to the evolution of the Data Engineering, Data Warehousing and Data Integration solutions. He/she participates in the design of business solutions at all levels and plays an active role in several projects related to B2B and middleware tools such as ETL, as well as Database technologies.


Assigned responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of Data Engineering, Architecture and Integration solutions;
  • Implement solutions to meet business needs, processes, and requirements;
  • Manage and develop a team of technical BI & ETL developers;
  • Ensure compliance with standard practices and procedures in the configuration of solutions;
  • Provide ideas for designing and improving solutions;
  • Ensure the operational reliability of data solutions;
  • Develop and maintain data architecture and roadmaps for our data solutions;
  • Design, develop and maintain data modeling guidelines, working closely with business analysts, data governance team, BI and data engineers to ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned to business needs;
  • Manage the software development and delivery process for Data solutions.


Success factors

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, or related;
  • 5+ years of technical data management experience;
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team;
  • Demonstrated experience leading the development of large-scale data solutions that meet the needs of the business and align with corporate objectives;
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions and implementations, such as DynamoDB;
  • Good understanding of Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, etc.;
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices;
  • Business Sense: You have an ability to translate needs into business procedures and identify problems and challenges. Your global vision allows you to provide adapted solutions that will contribute to the evolution of the SAP and data solutions;
  • Curiosity: You like to stay up to date on the latest technologies and are always seeking to learn more in your field in order to provide innovative business solutions adapted to users’ needs. You understand new trends and have a keen interest in technology, security and business procedures;
  • Communication Skills: You can easily express yourself orally and in writing in both French and English. You have an ability to explain complex concepts to different users.
