Job Purpose

The Recruitment Intern is responsible for supporting the Recruitment Manager in all recruitment activities across Canada. He/she will also contribute to the new talent acquisition strategy that the organization wishes to implement.

As an intern at Groupe Touchette, you will be responsible for :
- Participate in the job opening process;
- Participate in the writing of job descriptions
- Carry out postings on the various platforms determined with the Recruitment Manager;
- Sort out the applications received and participate in the telephone interview process;
- Conduct reference checks and background checks;
- Ensure the follow-up of the recruitment in the database;
- Participate in building partnerships with various schools and in filling seasonal positions;
- Represent the company at certain events (career days, job fairs, etc.);
- Participate in networking activities to develop the company's employer brand;
- Participate in the development of various recruitment tools and projects;
- All other related tasks.

Success Factors
- Passionate about recruitment: Be in the process of obtaining or graduate from a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a profile in Human Resources Management or in Industrial Relations, you demonstrate a keen interest in the field. Through your courses, your projects and your academic involvement, you have acquired a good knowledge of the various concepts in talent acquisition;
- Collaborative spirit: With a true team spirit, you encourage collaboration with your colleagues to facilitate learning. You are able to build relationships with internal and external clients and become a trusted business partner whose advice is greatly appreciated;
- Organizational: You are able to manage multiple files at once and organize your schedule to meet established recruitment objectives and optimize the experience for your candidates and internal clients;
- Sense of initiative: You are resourceful, energetic and autonomous. You are curious, on the lookout for best practices and any opportunity is good to put your creativity to work;
- Communication skills: Bilingual, you have a strong interest in words and languages and are very creative when it comes to composing an oral or written message to an audience in both French and English.
