Hourly rate starting at $18.91/hour (depending on experience) + $2/hour  bonus starting March 14.

JOB PURPOSE

The Order Picker is responsible for moving tires in the warehouse either manually or with the help of lifting equipment and loading/unloading.

ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the reception of tires;
• Load and unload delivery trucks;
• Move products to different locations in the warehouse using lifting equipment;
• Enter products into the inventory using a scanner gun;
• Inspect and report any anomalies on lifting equipment;
• Operate specialized lifting equipment;
• Prepare delivery vehicles according to work orders;
• Prepare delivery vehicles according to work orders; Enter items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• Perform all other related tasks.

SUCCESS FACTORS

• Experience in the operation of stand-up lifting equipment;
• Ability to perform physical work: be able to repeatedly lift loads weighing an average of 60lbs, work at heights and perform meticulous manual work;
• Possess a certificate of competency attesting to the training in safe operation of lifting equipment;
• Able to work with minimal supervision;
• Able to work with minimal supervision; Constantly oriented to the needs of the customers and demonstrate attention to detail;
• Respect and a sense of humor;
• Accept to work in an environment where health and safety are essential and a priority;
• Be reliable, rigorous and able to take initiative.
