The forklift operator / warehouse truck operator is responsible for moving tires in the warehouse either manually or with the help of lifting equipment and loading/unloading delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities entrusted

• Ensure the reception of tires;
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks;
• Move products to warehouse locations using lifting devices;
• Enter products into the inventory using a radio frequency rifle;
• Inspect and report any anomalies on lifting devices.
• Operate specialized lifting equipment;
• Prepare delivery vehicles based on work orders;
• Perform the entry of items into the computerized warehouse management system;
• Any other related tasks.

Success Factors

• Experience in the field of driving lifting devices with standing driving;
• Ability to perform physical work: being able to repeatedly lift loads weighing an average of 30lbs, doing work at height as well as manual work
• Hold a competency card attesting to training in safe operation of lifting devices or have experience
• Be enterprising and able to work with minimal supervision;
• Be constantly oriented towards client needs and demonstrate attention to detail;
• Respect and sense of humour;
• Accept to work in an environment where health and safety are essential and a priority;
• Be reliable, rigorous and able to take initiatives.
