The apprentice mechanic under the supervision of a journeyman mechanic to learn one of the trades for which the parity committee issues a certificate of qualification.

Responsibilities entrusted

  • Under the supervision of a journeyman mechanic in the performance of maintenance tasks;
  • Performs repairs under the direct supervision of the mechanic;
  • Performs road tests to verify the quality of work performed;
  • Performs tire installation and balancing;
  • Inspect vehicles to assist in the diagnosis of repairs.
