Groupe Touchette announces the nomination of Mr. Denis Gallagher as Vice-President of Information Technology (IT).

Constantly on the lookout for sources of improvement, Groupe Touchette is always concerned with identifying avenues that will allow us to evolve, become a better employer, and become the company of choice! Through its rigor, its tenacity, its enlightened risk-taking, its commitment to innovation at all levels, and its constant concern to surround itself with the best possible elements, the best members of the Groupe Touchette family, at all levels.

In this constant search for innovation and continuous improvement, we are pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Denis Gallagher as Vice-President of Information Technology (IT).

With over 20 years of experience at Nortel, SAP, and Toromont, Denis joined Groupe Touchette in August 2019 as Director of Business Applications.

Since his arrival, Denis has been instrumental in establishing new structures within IT, identifying the talent needed to support our growth, while establishing a work environment based on openness, listening, the desire to advance the various members of his team, and the positioning of IT as a real business partner for all other departments. An undisputed leader since he joined us, Denis has truly built an IT Dream Team over the years that many in the industry are jealous of!

Always positioning himself in solution mode and sparing no effort in the advancement of Information Technology within the company, nor his advice to his counterparts in the various departments, Denis has quickly established his great credibility with all the stakeholders who have had to work with him for nearly 3 years. The identification of Denis as the new Vice President of Information Technology was, therefore, a natural choice, as he proved to be a wise choice, with a consensus within the company, as much for his knowledge, his experience as for his management approach.

Denis who grew up in Montreal studied Computer Science at Concordia University in Montreal and obtained his MBA at John Molson School of Business.
