Montreal, February 4, 2026 — Groupe Touchette is pleased to announce the appointment of two senior leaders to its executive team: Karine Doucet as Vice-President, Human Resources and Talent and Matthieu Lefebvre as Associate Vice-President, Operations for Eastern Canada. These appointments underscore the organization’s continued commitment to sustainable growth across Canada.
Karine Doucet Appointed Vice-President, Human Resources and Talent
Karine brings over 20 years of experience in strategic human resources leadership. Throughout her career, she has held key leadership roles within major organizations, contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives and the implementation of innovative talent management practices.

Prior to joining Groupe Touchette, Karine served as Vice-President, Human Resources at Nouveau Monde Graphite, where she led the human resources strategy in a fast-growing organization focused on sustainable development. She previously held the role of Vice-President, Global Talent and Culture at Gildan Activewear, overseeing global succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. Earlier in her career, she was Director, Organizational Development at ArcelorMittal, where she led organizational transformation, HR process modernization, and continuous improvement efforts in a complex industrial environment.
Karine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Université Laval and certifications in leadership assessment. She is recognized for her strategic mindset, her ability to influence and mobilize teams, and her expertise in human resources governance, talent attraction and retention, and organizational transformation.
In her new role, Karine will report to Co-Chief Executive Officers Nicolas Touchette and Frédéric Bouthillier. She will play a key role in modernizing the human resources function, strengthening employee engagement and talent development, and supporting the organization’s cultural evolution.

Matthieu Lefebvre Appointed Associate Vice-President, Operations, Eastern Canada
Matthieu Lefebvre brings extensive experience in operations leadership, process optimization, and performance management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Université du Québec, an MBA from HEC Montréal, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

His career spans leadership roles within the Canadian Armed Forces, Hydro-Québec, McKesson Canada, and most recently Atlantic Packaging Group, where he played a key role in driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
